The Atlas Trainman N Scale 50' Steel Flatcar with Stakes represents a general-purpose flatcar built in the 1950s. The cars haul many different types of commodities. Pockets along the sides of the car could be used for tying down cargo with chains or straps. Optionally, stakes could be inserted into these pockets to help contain irregular loads such as logs. These flatcars have lasted for many decades and can still be found in maintenance of way (MOW) service. This N Scale car features molded details, a set of user-applied stakes, appropriate free-rolling trucks and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
